Day 6/100 is a tune that will be on my EP that is coming out later this year. I originally wrote this song is 2009 while touring with my group, Pictures of Then to the west coast and back. Driving along HWY 1 in California was truly one of the most beautiful scenes I have seen in my life. It's been the only time since being in a band, the van ride was completely silent for multiple hours.

LYRICS:
capo 5 if warmed up, 3 or 4 if not
C Am F D/G
they're nothing like the ghosts down in New Orleans
they never chased the daylight across the plains
even if it was all in vain
they're nothing like the old souls in Memphis
they're so much more dangerous
they treat us like they knew
like they knew us all before
prechorus: F Am F G
there's something to be said of all the angels
way out here, way out here
chorus: Am F C C, Am F G G, F C Am F G
it's a shame that the sun has to set
it's a shame when there's nothing left
i tried to close my eyes and remember daylight
but it only made it worse
F Am Em/ (G) hold for 2
You're finding out there's no one here for you
you're finding out there's no one here x2
Double CHORUS (made it worse twice)
Main riffx 4
