(It was midnight. Demi was sitting alone watching TV when Mike walked in)
Mike: hey there
Demi: hey, you were at the Gomezes?
Mike: (mocking laugh) where else would I go?

Mike: where is everybody?
Demi: (sighed) Lauren is staying with Ian tonight and Taylor is hanging out with Selena
Mike: (sat on the couch next to her) and Nina?
Nina: (came out of the kitchen) making a snack, who wants?
Mike: I am stuffed
Demi: (smiles at her) dessert left overs?
Nina: (nodded in excitement)
Demi: (smiles) cool
Nina: (ran back to the kitchen)
Mike: (wraps one arm around Demi) how was your day?
Demi: boring as usual, yours?
Mike: busy as usual
Demi: (giggles rested her head against his shoulder) I am so sleepy
Mike: (yawning) me too
Demi: no wedding plans soon?
Mike: not really (joking) you know I'd like to take things slow

Selena: how do you think is the best way to tell mom about all this dating thing?

Selena: (shrugged) you tell me
Taylor: (smiles at her) you are eyes. They are deep and mysterious. They scare me sometimes but it is a good scare
Selena: (blushes, smiles at him) well, you scare me too
Taylor: (wondering) a good scare?
Selena: (nodded)
Taylor: (leaned in and kissed her passionately wrapping his arms around her waist)
Selena: (kissing him back with the same passion)
Taylor: (smiles through the kiss) mmm... brownies
Selena: (smiles through the kiss) we had it together for dessert
Taylor: (deepening the kiss)
Selena: (pulls back)
Taylor: (gave her a questioning look)
Selena: (biting her bottom lip) there is a barn over (pointing behind her)
Taylor: (smirks) now you are talking!
Selena: (smirks) so, New Yorker?
Taylor: (took her hand) let's go, farm girl
(The next morning)
Candice had breakfast at the Daltons' then she and Nina were sitting in the main terrace...
Demi: (came out) hey girls
Nina: hey
Demi: (to Candice, smirks) can't see you with your fiancé, huh?
Candice: (giggles)
(Taylor came back home, he was so sleepy and messed up)
Taylor: (yawning) morning girls
Nina: hey, where have you been?
Taylor: (sleepy) some late work
Candice: and why exactly there is straw all over your shirt and hair?
Taylor: uh—I tripped over a pile of straw on my way home as you see I am sleepy
Demi: I thought you were hanging out with Selena
Taylor: (rubbing the back of his neck) uh—I was then I went to work. Excuse me now I am so tired and I need to sleep (he walks inside)
Nina: (to Demi) you said he was with Selena?
Candice: (suspicious) messed up, straw, sleepy, late work
(The three of them gasped instantly)
Demi: oh my gosh!!!
Nina: (surprised) they did it!!!!
Candice: (not less surprised) in a barn!!
Nina: eww!!
Candice: (disgusted) I know!
Demi: (rolled her eyes) really??!!
Candice: I have to go home now. I have a sister to gossip with (to Nina) tell Mike I will meet him at the restaurant (she ran outside)
Demi: (mutters) I can't believe it
Nina: (rolled her eyes) c'mon! Like you don't do it with Joe
Demi: (nervous) uh---
Nina: (saw something) funny I have just mentioned him. Look
Demi: (looked where she is looking, in disbelief) Joe?
Joe: (coming through the gate of the ranch) baby, I am back
The first thing Zac did after he got up was that he went to his sister's room. He found the lights were on and she was deeply sleeping, he turned out the lights and walked to her bed, he smiled when he saw that she ate her all of her dinner. Just looking at her sleeping angelic face, he can realize what that woman has told him. Mia is his sister and his responsibility. Maybe he could be the only one who can help her. It was so heartbreaking when he saw the dried tears all over her cheek and pillow. He stroke her cheek not believing how can a girl in her age bear all that pain and still standing strong not showing weakness to a single person. He laughed silently when he realized that he had tears in his eyes, he whispered "you are the strongest person I have ever met, Mia"
