3. I did that with truck tubes, you can make them into a flat sheet of rubber!. I would not use the tire again, its sort of like running it flat, you cause stress fractures in the casing.

5. The fridge compressor / vacuum pump is a great item for experiments. I may have to try to vacuum a bottle with hydrogen gas in it. That square wheel is awesome, great for the wheelbarrow. LOL

7. That folks, is how square wheels are made. :-D I wonder what fun could be had with a bicycle inner tube? I know you've tried to make one *POP*, but now could be the time to suck all the air out of one to see how small & flat it could be made. The only thing about doing the wheel is: If you left it like that for a few months, when you re-inflate it, would it re-inflate & be usable OK, or would there be splits & cracks into it where it has been forcibly 'crushed' into a smaller shape? -BBD.

9. I use something called "Ru-glide" a rubber lubricant that comes in big jugs. Not as thick as your paste, like a syrup. I can see cases where the paste would come in very handy.
