1. With the Komen Foundation and breast cancer funding putting women's health care right's in question, please go to our InsidersHealth channel to find our link and read an interesting article and learn what started the upheaval in the first place.
2. I'm willing to fund breast cancer research - but I'm sending money directly to Planned Parenthood and American Cancer Society. SGK is totally off my donation list.

To say that PP does not have anything to do with mammograms betrays an ignorance and commitment to ideology rather than thoughtful analysis - The same thing that got these people in such trouble and will ruin them. You people are so convinced that you have the only right position. The uprising among people of all persuasions- mostly women - against SGK should give you pause. But we both know it won't.
6. So does that mean a large number of women are willing to stop funding a cause to cure breast cancer because of a small change in funding of an organization that is being investigated by the government for fraudulent use of funds? Wow, that is sad and ignorant.
7. Susan G Komen Foundation is on life support now and a large number of women would like to pull the plug.
8. Nancy Brinker will go down in history for her EPIC PR DISASTER lying and covering up Susan G. Komen's embrace of right wing politics. What a sad day for Susan G. Komen when the ego of its CEO and Founder is found to be more important.

10. After all this it is hard to respect PP or Komen. I have never respected PP since their main business is killing the unborn. They have nothing to do with giving mammograms.

12. I agree the guy doing the interview is totally obnoxious and obviously pushing his own agenda even though he says he is not on one side or the other - to be it sounds like he's from Fox.
13. The guy interviewing Friedman is so obnoxious. He really sucks at this job. I hope it's not his fulltime job.
14. The guy in the blue shirt needs a lot more sleep, or some uppers. He said little, and said it very slowly. He didn't really add anything to Friedman's commentary
15. This discussion could have had a lot more depth. One, SGK ended up angering both supporters and detractors of Planned Parenthood (which provides way more screening than abortion, and now people know it). Two, spin notwithstanding, the defunding was transparently political, targeting PP and PP only. Three, the additional scrutiny SGK is now under is not at all flattering (bloated salaries, arbitrary funding policies, dubious medical claims that just happen to favor its big corporate sponsors).
