Most of us pro-lifers have no problem with Planned Parenthood providing birth control, gyn. exams, paps, etc..We have been mischaracterized by the media as being quaker like radicals.The truth of the matter is, is that P.P. provides many valuable svcs that I'm not opposed to supplementing. I'm opposed to supplementing an org. that is making millions performing abortions.They don't need my tax $ for that & I'm fundamentally opposed to abortion.They aren't the philanthropic org. you think they are
Planned Parenthood is being accused of misappropriating funds collected from Susan Komen & the Federal Govt. These funds are suppose to be directed towards Breast health & contraceptives. They are being accused of using these funds to perform abortions. Abortion's where the money is. Birth control ed. & prescriptions don't make them a lot of money. Lets face it, without abortion, P.P. wouldn't be able to pay salaries in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range. P.P. is BIG BUSINESS

Hell, I'm male and I've used PP... definitely wasn't going there for abortions of course. At the time it was the best option for me when it came to getting tested and picking up condoms. There was also counseling and various other services. I didn't know anyone who actually got an abortion... at least not personally. Most were women receiving contraceptives, basic screenings/blood tests and prenatal care. I'm appalled by the smearing of PP.
