7. This is a volunteer reading of a piece of classical American Literature. It is not a scholarly treatise on the origin's of peoples.  It is highly colored by the culture in which it was written, and was a favorable break over previous historic and fictional accounts of the indigenous peoples that, for the most part, had nothing favorable to say about them.
