May 22nd - Love One AnotherWebsite: peaceworks.tv Listen to Daily Thoughts 365 days a year. Peaceworks is a new peace movement bringing people from all over the world together for a single purpose...to change the Christian church into a peace church. Imagine how different the world would be if every Christian actually followed the peace teachings of Jesus. No fear. No anger. No hate. No revenge. Just living the way that Jesus intended for us to live. There's no question that people in the early church were much happier and more peaceful than we are today, but thanks to 2000 years of theology, things have gotten pretty messed up. The Christian "religion" is hoping that you won't figure it all out, but it can't be covered up any longer. Everything must change, and everything will change, but it needs to begin with you! Allow yourself to be transformed by the counter-cultural master of peace, joy and love...Jesus Christ. It's all leading up to September 2013 We start today and move into top gear with the launch of the Peaceworks video series in September 2013. Everything's free - including notes, quotes and discussion questions for all twelve 30 minute episodes. Great music, "word on the street" interviews and some of today's coolest, most engaging speakers will inspire you, and give you the tools you need to make a difference in your life, and the world. We're really excited about the people who are already on board, including Tony Campolo, Bruxy Cavey, Shane Claiborne, Jonathan Wilson Hartgrove ...

Fisherman's Shinto Shrine in Yaizu JapanThis video is part of a playlist featuring videos uploaded across multiple channels and shot during a day-long adventure exploring along the seashore in Japan between the cities of Yaizu and Shizuoka. The link below will take you to the official playlist titled "Abandoned Shangri la Hike". The playlist is featured on the YouTube Bullet Train channel. www.youtube.com ---- Shinto is one of the two major religions of Japan (the other is Buddhism). Shinto is often considered to be the native religion of Japan, and is as old as Japan itself. The name Shinto means "the way of the gods." Shinto is a pantheistic religion, in which many thousands of major and minor gods are thought to exist. The Japanese have built thousands of shrines (jinja) throughout the country to honor and worship these gods. Some shrines are huge and are devoted to important deities. Other shrines are small and may be easily missed when strolling along roads in the countryside. Shinto gods are called kami. Kami are thought to have influence on human affairs, and for this reason many Japanese make regular pilgrimage to community shrines in order to offer prayers to local kami. The act of prayer involves approaching the shrine structure, passing through the gate-like torii, cleansing the hands and mouth with water and possibly ascending stairs to the main entrance of the shrine. Usually without entering the shrine the worshipper will throw some coins into a stone or wooden collection box and then rattle the ...

Comment on PrinciplesI have a question: Do you now feel that the Baha'i faith is "wrong" as a religion or do you think that it's just not the right one for you? do you feel that Baha'is are "going to hell" and all that? and how do you reconcile all the prophecies of the return of Christ being fulfilled by Baha'u'llah (return in the glory of the father, return through the "gate" (the Bab)) seems to me that renouncing a religion that is based on so much proof just because you had a dream seems silly IMHO thank you for your question and comment
